Explanation of Tour fee

First, the Little City Tour could not run without the support of the local golf courses that host our events. The rate that we pay for the golf course is very modest, at $10 for the round per player. This cost is unheard of in golf for a full round. Please, support the courses with your patronage that make the Little City Tour possible.

Last year was my first year running the tour. After looking at the financial situation last year the tour would have run negative without contributions from supportive individuals. While I love golf and want to support the growth of our young golfers; I am not in a position to financially support the tour to keep costs down.

The choice was made to have a one-time tour fee. This was based on the number of individual tour competitors and the cost of administering

the tour. We felt that a one-time fee was better than making each course cost more. This ensures that there is no negative to playing more golf. If a golfer plays in one or eight golf tournaments the tour fee is a flat rate. We felt this was better as compared to increasing the cost of each tournament. Based on last year's numbers the tour will be financially solvent with a $10 tour fee. We do not expect the tour fee to go up in the foreseeable future.
