Tour Rules

Tour Deadline: Tour Deadline is Tuesday, June 11th, 2024. The number of players will be limited to 65 per event. Registration by this deadline helps the tournaments run smoothly. If you sign up for a tournament and cannot make it please email burnsj@apaches.k12.in.us.

Tour Fee: The 2022 Tour fee is $10. This pays for tour expenses not associated with course fees. Explanation of the tour fee

Entry Fee: The entry fee for each tournament is $10.00 per event for those paying cash/check (preferred). Online payments will be $12.00 per event. Please pay in full for all tournaments you wish to play in. There are no refunds but you can play in a later tournament if you miss one. Please contact burnsj@apaches.k12.in.us with questions.  

Player check-in: All players must register on the day of the event when they arrive. 

For Shotgun starts: All players must register by 7:30 am the day of. Pairings will be posted the day of, after registration. Players not registered by 7:45 will be considered late and may lose their spots.

For Tee Time Starts: Players will be sent a tee time. All players should register at least 30 minutes before their tee time. Players who are late may lose their tee time.


Format of play: Junior High School: Play will be Coed, for nine holes, using stroke play, and a shotgun start. The high school will be split into girls' and boys' divisions, for eighteen holes using stroke play and a shotgun start.

Spectators: Spectators may not give advice on how to play shots, the golf course, or what club selection to make. Spectators may help find balls, but spectators should not touch any player’s golf ball. Spectators can offer compliments and encouragement, such that there is no advice. This is in accordance with rule #10.2 “advice and other help.” 

Spectator Cart Fees: Will be set by the host golf courses. Maximum of two riders per cart. 

Eligibility for the Tour: Junior High players for Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade years, high school players who are Incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders, and 2024 graduates will all be eligible to play.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be given awards for each division. Tour points winners will be awarded for participation and placement in each tournament. At the end of the tour, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in total tour points will receive awards. Players must play in at least 5 events. 

Ties: Ties will be broken by “backing up” starting on #18 for high school players and #9 for middle school players.

Local Rules: USGA rules will govern play during the Little City Tour. The rules committee will be made up of the golf professional at the course and the tour organizer. Little City Tour will have two local rules in play.
