TERM ONE 2023 INFORMATIONÂ
UPDATE - 20 minute game slots, 2 games per team each week. Games MUST finish on time.
We will endeavour to find a team for any school-aged students that do not have a team to play for.
27 MARCH UPDATE: Unfortunately the PPTA has decided to hold a strike day on Wednesday 29th March. As a result many high schools will be closed for the day and the league will not be running.
The draw is now live for the rest of the season.
Exciting opportunities to contribute to youth canoe polo in Christchurch for the rest of this year (and beyond):
Indoor canoe polo coordinator/ supervisor(s) - Jellie Park, Term 2, Wednesday evenings 7-9:30pm; promote sessions; coordinate MCPA equipment + pool supervision/ coaching; ensure payment by participants.
Kidsfest - Jellie Park, 5/7/2023 10am-2:30pm, promote sessions; coordinate MCPA equipment + pool supervision/ coaching; ensure payment by participants.
Schools’ coordinator - supervise/ coordinate highschool league, Wednesdays, Term 1 + 4; compile league draw and tables; issue invoices to schools; work with schools/ MCPA committee to ensure competition rules are fair, reasonable and enforced.
Christchurch City Council liaison - booking CCC facilities; ongoing meetings re: MCPA access to Parakiore once it opens.

MCPA / NZCPA affiliation (for the whole year) is still $25 per player up to Y8 and $30 per player for Y9 and above.
Match fee is $20 per team.
