The National Museum of Qatar is a national museum in Doha, Qatar. The current building opened to the public on 28 March 2019, replacing the previous building which opened in 1975. The building was designed by architect Jean Nouvel who was inspired by the desert rose crystal, which can be found in Qatar.
The Museum of Islamic Art is a museum on one end of the seven-kilometer-long Corniche in Doha, Qatar. As per the architect I. M. Pei's specifications, the museum is built on an island off an artificial projecting peninsula near the traditional dhow harbor.

The heart of Qatar National Library, the Heritage Library is a unique contribution to Qatar’s cultural landscape. Its growing collection includes rare and valuable Arabic manuscripts, archival documents, early Arabic printed materials, such as books, journals, magazines and newspapers; books and periodicals in various European languages; and maps, atlases, globes, historical photographs, and instruments and tools related to travel. A number of the printed materials date back to the 15th century, when the printing process had recently been introduced in Europe, and these antiquarian books are among the rarest and most valuable features of the Heritage Library's collection.
The mosque itself is stunning, set on five large columns – which represent the pillars of Islam – and feature embossed verses from the Holy Qur'an. With the capacity to house 1,800 worshippers in its main prayer hall, and a further 1,000 in the exterior courtyard, it’s one of the most impressive pieces of architecture in the region.
Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum is a privately owned museum located in the municipality of Al-Shahaniya in Qatar. Encompassing an area of 530,000 m², the three-building museum was opened in 1998 by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani.

Zubarah, also referred to as Al Zubarah or Az Zubarah, is a ruined, ancient town located on the northwestern coast of the Qatar peninsula in the Al Shamal municipality, about 65 miles or 105 kilometres from the capital Doha.
The recently-inaugurated Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani Mosque at The Pearl Island marks a significant milestone in the architectural landscape of Qatar. This remarkable mosque stands out as the first in the country to embrace the New Baroque architectural design style.
This breathtaking sculpture in the Brouq nature reserve spans over a kilometre and comprises four steel plates, each over fourteen metres in height. To guarantee perfect alignment, Serra examined the topography of the land and beautifully enhanced the vast, desolate space in the heart of the desert. The result is spectacular and although contemporary, timeless.

Al-Janoub Stadium was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid (1950–2016). The stadium features a curvilinear postmodernist and neo-futurist design. The appearance of the roof was inspired by the sails of traditional dhows used by pearl divers from the region, weaving through currents of the Persian Gulf.
