AUNE Short-term Emergency Hardship Funding
We know that finances can be a barrier to completing your degree, our AUNE has resources and options to assist you with those including scholarships, emergency funding resources, financial aid and student account payment plans, as well as, gas card requests, and short-term emergency hardship funding.
The AUNE short-term emergency hardship funding is intended for any AUNE full or part-time, matriculated in a program, student only to help cover unforeseen, essential expenses once per academic semester. You may attend online or in-person and is open to international students. This is not available to students who are on any kind of leave of absence or withdrawn. This is intended to be a one time unexpected financial emergency when all other options have been exhausted.

Funding may be limited due to demand.
May be paused until funds are available.
Funding is not guaranteed.
Each request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
We encourage you to research all of your options before requesting support through this program.
Students may not request funding in the same semester. After one request, due to limited funding, we may not be able to accomodate a second request.
You will be contacted regarding your application within 72 hours (3 business days). Each request will be considered individually, and decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. The amount granted is based on available funds and will not exceed $100. Misrepresenting your situation may result in disqualification of your current request and any further hardship requests. A staff member will review your submission and may ask to meet with you for additional information or documentation. Your advisor or program may be contacted to request any additional information as needed.
At AUNE, we value a student’s right to privacy and comply with all applicable federal privacy regulations, including FERPA. The information you provide in this application will only be used by the University employees, and only for the purpose of identifying resources to assist and support your continued enrollment at AUNE.
