College Credit Plus
College Credit Plus allows eligible students to take a course and earn high school and college credit that will appear on both their high school and college transcripts. All courses offered through College Credit Plus – even courses offered at the high school – must be the same courses that the college offers. A series of high-quality general education courses are offered in a variety of modalities at no cost to students or their families. Courses may be taken four different ways: blended-traditional, blended-interactive, one hundred percent online and in-person on campus.
College-ready students in grades 7-12 who qualify for college admission and desire to participate must view with a parent or guardian the mandatory informational session posted on the AW website.
Students who want to participate in the College Credit Plus Program for the following school year must:
Attend mandatory virtual counseling session posted in Google Classroom. All students in grades 6-11 are notified of the virtual session. More specific details, including the risks and rewards of the program, will be presented during this session.
At the conclusion of the counseling session video, there will be a Google Form that ALL participants should complete to verify attendance.
Complete the Intent to Participate form by April 1st.
Follow all requirements to apply and be accepted by the institution of higher education, including requesting junior high school transcripts and counselor forms. The decision to admit or deny a student lies with each university following Ohio Higher Education guidelines. This includes a minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.0. Transcripts will NOT be sent until you have completed this step and you will not be accepted without a transcript. REQUEST TRANSCRIPT HERE
Follow all Anthony Junior Wayne High School, College Credit Plus, and the institution of higher education deadlines and requirements for the application, testing, registration, and orientation.

Anthony Wayne Local Schools will have College Credit Plus agreements with Bowling Green State University, Owens Community College, & University of Toledo.
Classes may be offered at Anthony Wayne High School, online, or on the college or university campus.
All policies and rules are subject to legislative and/or ODE or Ohio Higher Education change.
