About Me

My name is Nicole McCurdy, and I am beginning my 23rd year in education—and my fifth year serving the amazing students and staff of Anson ISD. Every day, I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside some of the finest educators and administrators in the state, people whose dedication and heart inspire me daily.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in English from Texas Woman’s University and my Master’s in Education from Hardin-Simmons University, but my greatest lessons have come from the relationships built in classrooms and hallways over the years. Education isn’t just my profession—it’s my calling.

Anson ISD is truly home for my family. My husband, Jeremiah, serves as the Director of Operations here, and together we have been blessed beyond measure with five incredible children—three proud Anson ISD graduates and one soon-to-be graduating senior—along with four precious grandbabies (two at our very own AES), three wonderful sons-in-law, and one beautiful daughter-in-law.

We are deeply rooted in this community, and we are thankful every day for the opportunity to live, work, and grow here.
