Texas Tech University:  Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, 2003

Hardin-Simmons University: Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development, 2006

I worked as a college counselor at HSU for 4 years (career counseling, students with disabilities, academic advisor) before joining public education.  I taught 5th and 1st grades for five years.  I have been the middle school counselor for the last 9 years.  This is my 2nd year at High School level and I love it!  

I live on my family ranch with my husband, Justin, our two sons, Jace (11th grade), and Ky (8th grade).  We love spending time together especially outdoors or playing sports.  

Anson is a great community that we feel blessed to call home.
