Whose perspective have you considered as a result of reading this story? Can you make connections between the main character and yourself? Why is this important? Give any specific examples from what you've read in the book so far to support your idea.
i have considered what it would be like to have a Japanese family at this time. I don't really have any connections with the main character because I have never experienced having to move out of a place I live because of war or hardship.
In this journal entry, They are traveling to the camp that is on the other side of the country. And it turns out that the dad was transported to some jail type place for the jdapanese men. So they have to go without him for a while.

Make a connection with the story, the character, or the setting with the guiding questions we have talked about in World Studies (Why do people move? Why is it important to connect to other people and places through stories? Give 1-2 specific examples from what you've read in the book so far to support your ideas.
I think it is important to hear someones story because if they don't ever tell anyone then how are those storys supposed to ever be remembered. That is also why people move to get away from those experiences and share them with others.
Me and my group wrote a book called over the river. The main character of this book was Wes. In the book, Wes lives on the dangerous side of the river. So one day the village gets attacked by foxes and he is drove out of his village. When wes woke up he realized his village had fled while he was asleep. So he keeps searching for friends and then he meets a rabbit named Fabio. Wes found other bunnies and they planned to cross the river. In the process they lost fabio in the river. It ends after all of it Wes was telling kids about the story and why they should never go across the river. This story connects to why people move from war or violence purposes.
Our group had to use discipline to stay on task and complete work. My main job was to write the script for the book.
