In life science we study water cycles and life.
For our first project we did a water cycle project. We studied water cycles to do this and drew a riverside building and named what type of pollutants it would make.
LT: I can recognize that everyone contributes to and is responsible for a river’s water quality.
In this picture I created the money making factory with money trees. It creates way to much pollution.
LT: I can describe how a water molecule moves through the water cycle.
This was our first project and we studied water cycles for this as well, it is low quality and I regret this. We just drew a comic style thing that was supposed to represent a water cycle and this gets it done with some "jokes" I guess?
LT: I can design a non-human, imaginary species following simple genetic rules.
For our second unit we studied life and reproduction which led us to make our own species. For mine I did a cheeseburger monster thing.
LT: Researching the flora and fauna of the Boise river.
I didn't have my Chromebook at the time of researching this so I had to use books for my research. I got a few books, and found a bird to research in all of them. I chose the Canada goose.
The process of making this was first making a planner, to do this I got all of the books and wrote down all the information on the Canada goose that I didn't already have. I had three sources with little information but I did the best I could.
I then had to make a hand-drawn picture of the goose, I drew this goose absolutely decked out, he had a saddle, crown, sunglasses, supreme shoes, a Gucci key chain, and a ruby staff.
I got a giant piece of poster paper and put down all the information I could clearly fit in. I then put Gucci Goose onto the poster and then the whole thing was finished.
