At Home Lesson: Cup Rhythms

Join music teacher, Kelly Gentry, with a lesson on cup rhythms!

WAG: Nov 2

We have been exploring acting and character roles in grades 4 and 5. We have been in the auditorium for much of our class periods as we need the space to move and spread out. I wish we could take you with us! Participate in Creative Arts this week by enjoying a musical.

Musicals include singing, dancing, and spoken dialogue. You will see characters, set design, backdrops, props, and a story coming to life.

We will be watching the Lion King Jr. this week. Enjoy the show and think about the following questions:

  • Where does the story take place?

  • Who are the characters? Who is your favorite character?

  • How would you describe the costumes for this show?

  • If you could play a character in this play, who would it be and why?

If you would like to share a video or recording of you playing your instrument, please send your video or recording to lburns@annunicationmsp.org. I would love to see your skills!
