Anna ISD Makerspace Background

The Anna ISD Makerspace opened during the Fall of 2019. We have had tremendous success.

Since our opening, we have trained over 160 students on various equipment. Because of Covid19, we closed up in the Spring, but we did not stop making. We are in the final phase of opening up our wood and metal shop.

Strategic Makerspace Opening Plan

The Anna High School Makerspace opened on October 1, 2019 and are currently opening in phases as follows:

October 2019: 3D Printing/Textiles

November 2019: Garment Printing

December 2019: Laser Engraving/Cutting

September-November 2020: Wood Shop & Metal Shop Equipment


  • Fall 2019: Open to all Anna High School students & staff and Central Administration staff.

  • Spring 2021 Open to all Anna High School & Anna Middle School students & staff and Central Administration staff.

  • Year 3: TBD in Fall 2021
