Pivot TablePivot table shows the frequency distribution of the data. It is the simplest way of representing the data in a tabular form. The following are the steps :1. Goto Insert ribbon, Select PivotTable option.2. A window called ‘Create Pivot table’ will open. In this window, provide the data ranges and choose the location where the table is to be placed.3. Next, A Pivot Table Field List window will open.4. Choose the Column to be shown in the table. E.g. Preference.
5. Drag that Column to Raw labels and Values as shown below E.g. Preference
6. To compute the percentage for the number of observations, select Value Field Settings in the Values and select % of column in the Shown values as.
7. Now, Frequency Distributions have been created with a Pivot table.
