⏰CPE Hours are awarded at each session, and select courses qualify as update hours for G/T certification.

🎁Each technology session you attend will also earn you an entry into one of many prize drawings for classroom tools and technology items!  Past prizes have included document cameras, makerspace kits, TV upgrades, laptop accessories, VR kits, software licenses, and more!  

🏫 Sessions will be held in the AISD Pavilion, Admin Building, or Transportation Center, located at 1900 N. Downing in Angleton.  Space will be limited.

What is the PD Hub?

This site is is designed to house resources, webinars, and recordings related to all district Professional Development opportunities scheduled throughout the year.   Use the Training Resources navigation menu to view self-paced information about curriculum and tools.  Take advantage of Virtual PD Workshops and Instructional Coaching to get personalized help from district digital learning & instructional coaches.

 TCEA is offering free memberships until Friday October 8th.  TCEA is a professional organization focused on technology in education and offers 80+ hours in CPE credits each year, along with other classroom resources.  Details here:  tcea.org/membership/free/

District 🕵️‍♂️Cybersecurity Awareness training is now available in the Technology Handbook.  This is required by state law for all public employees.  A face-to-face session will be scheduled at your department or campus this Fall.

There are two free virtual PD events this Saturday, November 14th!

Texas Edu Fest - 9:00am-4:00pm 11/14

This is a one day event designed to help Texas educators who are teaching during the Global Pandemic. Our goal is to help you save time and energy as well as fill your bucket during this challenging time in education.  Features 7 breakout sessions on educational technology.  

Edcamp Aldine - 8:30am-12:00pm 11/14

Looking for something different?  Unlike traditional conferences which have schedules set months in advance by the people running the conference, an Edcamp has an agenda that’s created by the participants at the start of the event. Instead of one person talking for an hour in each session, people are encouraged to have discussions and hands-on interaction.
