Training Webinars for Google Classroom
Graded Assignments in Google Classroom (1 hour) - Offered Wednesday 4/8 and Thursday 4/9 at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.
These live sessions are for anyone who would like to use Google Classroom as an option to collect graded assignments from their students. Beginner users and those in need of a refresher will see how to create auto-graded quizzes as well as open-ended assignments, with a focus on keeping things simple for both the student and the teacher.
If you're unable to attend a live session, the series of 4 videos below from Control Alt Achieve provide a simple and concise overview of the assignment features in Classroom. These videos only cover the technical ins and outs of posting, receiving, and grading assignments. For questions about AISD Grading Guidelines during the school closure, please refer to communication from your campus or disstrict administrator.
This video shows how to make a simple quiz with multiple choice and free-response items that will be automatically graded and provide instant feedback to the student.
If you have an assignment in mind that can't be automatically graded, such as a student essay, reflection, photo upload, document upload, project, or other student creation, this video is for you.

Note! Most classes and rosters in Classroom are already synced with Skyward Gradebook , so you probably don't need to create one.

If you use nothing else in Classroom, use the Stream to check in and communicate with your class!
