About STUDENTSECT@CMU
Launched in 2018, INTERSECT@CMU is a cross-campus endeavor designed to convene thought leaders from within and beyond the CMU community to explore the implications of a broad topic in our rapidly changing world. In the age of COVID-19, the conference will consider COVID-19's long-term global effects on four foundational elements of society: health, sustainability, the economy and education (outlined in detail below).

This year, we launched STUDENTSECT@CMU in partnership with the greater Intersect conference. STUDENTSECT is a series of student-led programming that aims to create an opportunity for students to engage in meaningful dialogue at a systems level in the context of COVID-19, while exploring strategies for change as we redefine "normal" in a post-COVID world.
