Registered nurses make regular home visits and provide moms with the care and support they need to have a healthy pregnancy, provide responsible and competent care for their children, and become more economically self-sufficient. Pregnant women are enrolled through the end of the second trimester and receive 64 home visits over a 2.5-year period, until the child's second birthday.
