As Midway's Reading Coach, I am thrilled to support Literacy for students, teachers, and parents in our school community.
My name is Joy Farr, and I have the privilege of spending my days doing everything I can to help your child grow as a reader. I work with children, teaching small group reading and phonics, plan with teachers, and create opportunities to support all Midway faculty and community members. I am keeping up with the latest research on the best literacy strategies. My ultimate goal is to empower teachers and administrators to implement the most valuable strategies, materials, and resources to help students become competent readers and writers in our society.
