~~ GET INVOLVED IN OUR LDR TEAMS! ~~
Leadership Development Requirements (LDRs) are after-school teams associated with our JROTC Unit. These teams are open to any JROTC cadet in good standing with the school and the corps. However, some teams such as the Marksmanship team have a limited number of slots on the roster. The goal of our LDR teams is to build up skills that can be used in the real world; teamwork, discipline, public speaking, and technical skills.
If you want to join an LDR, email the team's commander to let them know, and show up to practice.
The Awareness Presentation Team (APT) is a group designed to improve public speaking skills while discussing important topics. Cadets in APT go to Elementary and Middle Schools and give presentations on topics such as the dangers of smoking, importance of vulnerability, and how to identify unhealthy relationships. This team practices on the first Wednesday of every month.
