Anchorage 5th Grade Memo

• Important Upcoming Dates & Information:

  • Next week is Spring Break!

  • This Friday we will have our monthly assembly.  It will start in the gym at 8:00.  Several 5th graders will be the hosts of this assembly- we wish them good luck!

• Welcome to 5th Grade! This website will be updated weekly with all the important information 5th grade related!  Please click the tab "What are we learning?" to see what your child is learning this week!

• To help our students develop responsibility and independence, we will no longer allow students to call home for forgotten materials, nor will we accept items brought to school during the day. This policy encourages planning ahead and accountability. We appreciate your support in fostering these important skills! 

• As a grade level, we often go outside for recess and our walk in the morning. Please make sure your child is dressed for each day's weather and temperature!

• Please sign your child's planner every night!

• ORANGE FOLDERS COME HOME EVERY OTHER MONDAY AND NEED TO BE EMPTIED AND RETURNED TUESDAY - Next week!!

• Please send your child in with a water bottle daily.
