In Their Words

Each episode in this podcast is written, recorded, and produced by a group of juniors in the Honors English and U.S. History Classes at AJSHS. After reading There There and learning about native history, students sat down with native people. The podcast episodes are based on those interviews and research from The Montana Historical Society. Some focus on the modern "Urban Indian" experience, while others focus on past experiences of native people in the area. The podcasts are intended to reveal the learning process—the literal changing of young minds—that occurs through inquiry, analysis, and collaborative production.
