A Special Thank You
Dear Sorors and Fraters,
Over the weekend of September 8-10, Rosicrucians and friends from the Colorado region and those of several surrounding states were truly fortunate to enjoy a magnificent RCUI class on The Divine Feminine, taught by our Grand Master Julie Scott and Grand Secretary Karen Wark. This was the second year in a row that our two beloved Grand Lodge officers offered a program in the beautiful setting of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and, again, attendees were thrilled.
The class centered on the very important theme of the divine feminine in history, culture, society, mystical ritual, and myth during the period from 6500 BCE to contemporary times, during which both the divine feminine and the feminine role in general underwent a radical decline in influence and esteem. Attendees were taken on this important and revealing multi-cultural journey through the eyes of the mystery schools of their respective days, anthropologists, historians, myth, ritual, and art.
In a beautiful last-day ritual based on the grand art of Judy Chicago, we established our intent to reverse the decline and again establish the proper balance between the feminine and masculine principles.
