Greetings Fratres and Sorores, Dear Friends,

Much of the work and development accomplished by Rosicrucian students occurs in the home sanctum where we receive our monographs and related material through the mail or online, study our monographs, practice the exercises, enjoy the peace and inner unfoldment taking place as a result of our mystical studies and experiments. It is this continual study and practice that contributes to the process of physical and spiritual evolution that leads us to the mastery of life.

It is possible for members to increase their benefits by attending the deeply spiritual Convocation ritual along with special lectures regarding various aspects of the mystical studies of interest to Rosicrucian students. The metaphysical work that we do is ever more effective and powerful with the energy derived from the simultaneous activity of many minds working together. Newcomers can realize that they are in a Rosicrucian gathering, a special family of like minds, and that everyone is on the mystical path toward inner self development.

Significance of the East

The Sun rises in the East, and it was in the East that man first saw the “Symbol of Life” and understood by what he saw, that God’s laws are mechanically and mathematically perfect. The regular rising of the Sun, with such infinite exactness, illustrated to man that life is continual, immortal, rising again and again in the East. Therefore, in Rosicrucian Lodges, the East is the point in which fratres and sorores seek the dawn of illumination – helping them to overcome superstition and fear in their search for truth. For this reason, the East in the Rosicrucian Lodge is always respected and saluted as the place of divine illumination and resurrection. It must be so regarded at all times, and must never be occupied by the profane (uninitiated) or the unworthy.
