How long does it take?
The digitization process, uploading your physical images to the computer, can be done in an hour. The restoration process, depending on how many images were submitted, can take between a week to a month.
How much does this cost? Can I make donations?
Restoration is completely free! We can't accept monetary gifts, your donation to us is getting the word out about restoration!
How do you restore images?
We restore images through Photoshop. It's a relatively quick process, here's a video:
What type of photos can you restore?
Any printed image can be restored. We cannot restore negatives or slides yet. Some images can be too damaged to restore, we will always try our hardest, but if we cannot restore an image we will exempt it.
Will I get my physical photos back?
We will return your photos to you by default. If you mark that you want the restored photos to be disposed of, we will dispose of them for you.
How do I get my photos back?
When your images are done restoring, you'll get an email coordinating physical photo return. To get back the restored photos, you can drop your photos off with a flash drive inside and we'll return the files on the flash drive, or we can email you a Google Drive link.
Can you make prints for me?
We are unable to reprint images. You can take digital files to a photo center and get them reprinted.
