Welcome to 4th Grade!

Greetings! My name is Caitlin Douglas. Welcome to my website.

I grew up in Scandinavia, WI and attended school in Waupaca, which is where I currently reside. I went to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated with a degree in elementary education for grades 1 through 8 with an emphasis in mathematics education. After graduating, I had the opportunity to sub in various grade levels for a year before becoming part of the teaching team in Amherst. I joined the teaching team in Amherst in 2011 and taught elementary computers, 7th grade math, and 7th and 8th grade reading before beginning my journey in 4th grade in 2018.

As an educator, I believe that every child has the right to an education. I will plan and implement hands on and interactive lessons to engage and educate my students. I believe that every child is capable of learning and growing to achieve their full potential. I will do my best to provide them with the learning opportunities and experiences to do this.
