Happy New Year! I hope your holiday season was filled with joy and time with loved ones. As we welcome 2025, we’re excited for the opportunities this new year brings for growth, learning, and connection. I for one am ready for spring though!! This Snow..... need I say more?? 

January is a busy month here at Amelon, and I’d like to highlight a few important updates:

Mid-Year Testing: This month, students will participate in mid-year VALLS testing, which helps us monitor their progress and tailor our instruction to meet their needs. Additionally, our Kindergarten students will complete their VKRP assessments. Thank you for ensuring your child gets plenty of rest and arrives on time during testing days!

Read-A-Thon Fundraiser: We’re gearing up for our annual Read-A-Thon, which will kick off in February! This fun event encourages a love for reading while supporting our school. More details will be shared soon, so stay tuned!

Your partnership is essential in helping our students succeed, and I’m grateful for all you do to support our school. Let’s make this new year one to remember!
