Welcome!
The Northwest Meeting on Dynamical Systems and Control 2026 (NMDSC 2026) is an international forum dedicated to advancing research, collaboration, and scientific dialogue in dynamical systems, control theory, mathematical modeling, and science and engineering education. The conference will take place from August 19 to 21, 2026, at Universidad Tecnológica de Tijuana, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, a dynamic academic environment that promotes cross-border and global scientific exchange.
NMDSC 2026 continues the tradition of fostering rigorous discussion at the intersection of mathematics, engineering, and applied sciences. The 2026 edition is structured around three core thematic areas: Mathematics Education in Science and Engineering; Mechatronics, Robotics, and Control; and Biomathematics, Mathematical Modeling, and Complex Systems. These areas reflect the conference’s commitment to both theoretical innovation and practical application, bridging foundational mathematical advances with technological development and interdisciplinary research.
Original and previously unpublished contributions are welcomed from researchers and scholars whose work addresses nonlinear dynamics, stability and bifurcation theory, integer and fractional-order differential and difference equations, robust and optimal control of linear and nonlinear systems, spectral analysis, fuzzy and complex systems, as well as applications in robotics, automation, biological and physiological systems, epidemiology, economics, environmental sciences, and computational modeling. The meeting seeks to provide a space where new methodologies in mathematics education can also be discussed alongside advanced analytical and computational techniques that shape contemporary science and engineering.
By bringing together researchers, faculty members, graduate students, and professionals from diverse institutions and countries, NMDSC 2026 aims to strengthen international research networks and encourage meaningful academic collaboration. The conference promotes an inclusive environment in which ideas are exchanged openly, innovative approaches are critically examined, and interdisciplinary perspectives contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
NMDSC 2026 represents not only a scientific gathering but also a commitment to advancing science and engineering through dynamical systems and control in a global context. The organizing team looks forward to welcoming the international community to Tijuana for a stimulating and productive meeting.
