The Northwest Meeting on Dynamical Systems and Control is a conference that was initially considered as a series of workshops of one-day conferences for three years from 2019 to 2022, which was a subproject within the frame of the Basic Science project "Nonlinear Analysis for Fractional Difference Equation Systems", financed by the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI, before called National Council of Science and Technology - CONACYT) of Mexico. This series of workshops were thought to expose the results derived of the aforementioned Basic Science project by the members of the working group on Dynamical Systems and Control "Centre for Computational and Mathematical Modeling, Analysis and Applications" of the Tijuana Technological Institute, as well collaborators of the project from institutions as the Metropolitan Autonomous University - Iztapalapa, the Iberoamerican University - CDMX, the University of Sonora - Hermosillo, CITEDI-IPN and the IPICYT. Due to the sanitary emergence caused by the SARS-COV 19, this workshop project was frustrated out. In 2023 the project was resumed as an international conference named Meeting on Dynamical Systems and Control and take place at the Tijuana Technological Institute, with a second edition 2024 at the same place with the support of the Mexican Association of Dynamical Systems and Complexity (AMESDYC). For this edition 2025, the conference changed its name to Northwest Meeting on Dynamical Systems and Control, a conference organized by the AMESDYC and supported by the SECIHTI, in collaboration with the Center of Technical and High Teaching (CETYS) University, campus Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
