Here are some helpful ELA websites/resources. Quizlet is probably the most important--it is our go-to for vocabulary study skills. We use this colorful SIGNPOSTS bookmark when we read fiction; it really helps us navigate text. Khan Academy has additional ELA practice. CommonLit has a great selection of stories and poems. (W)GBH is a great--and local--jumping off point for news stories. Newsela is a place to find news catered to young people. Open Library is an internet archive filled with wonderful books and stories you can "borrow". "WhatshouldIreadnext" is really cool. You just type in the title of a book you've loved and it gives recommendations. Enjoy them all. Have any additional recommendations? Let me know!
