Hello, eighth graders!

Welcome to 8th grade English Language Arts!  The 8th grade will be an important year in preparing you for high school.  This year we will study a wide range of texts and will learn by reading, writing, listening and speaking about each work of literature.  We will also focus on expanding your vocabulary.  I am truly excited to get to know you and help you strengthen your ELA abilities.  Please know that my door is always open should you have any questions or concerns.  I am here to support you and help you learn.  Let's have a successful and memorable year!
