You'll be helping to stock & sell concessions throughout the event day. There are various jobs which you may be assigned & your role might change many times throughout your shift. There will be the main concession line through the school cafeteria & a smaller, drink & snack only line at the Athletic Concession booth.
Cashiers: Taking payment & making change.
Stock: Accepting food deliveries & placing food out for sale. Retrieving supplies & tools as needed.
Servers: Helping to serve food to contest guests.
In short, you are helping to time the performance. It's very important that performers know how much time they have left. There will be printed, detailed directions available for you on the day of contest. Please go over them here before then as well! Thank you so much for all that you do!

There are a few specific roles for you throughout the day, such as escorting judges to their centers or delivering ballots from centers to the Media Center for tabulation.
Overall, though, you'll be assigned jobs as needed, whether to cover a job that springs up or needs done to an absence. You're the last line of defense between a great contest and a disaster!
