Section 2: Connection
Cultural, historical, and artistic influences with critical evaluation.
Artistic Connection:
In this piece, I attempted to reproduce the sweetness of colorful candies' shine, color, and texture using colored pencils. The artwork connects to the idea of pop art, which makes popular ordinary objects and intense, vivid color. As with artists such as Wayne Thiebaud, who always painted sweet treats and desserts, I attempted to render ordinary candies beautiful using careful shading, layering, and arranging. The intersecting forms and range of color establish depth and playfulness, demonstrating how artwork can take dull objects and make them look lively and attractive.

Section 6: Communicate and Reflect
Challenges, successes, and self-evaluation of how the artwork aligns with the inquiry question.
In my opinion, I feel like I do love the way I worked hard to create my art. I feel like it was hard to blend and make colors since I couldnt blend to hard and had to scumble. At first it was difficult, but over the span of the classes, it got easier.
