Explanation of the guiding question or concept
I think that by using movement, intuition, and destruction can be used as tools because I believe that abstract art is about expressing yourself and your emotions and by adding your movement you can really make your piece of work into something extremely unique by adding a flow in your movement so that it can attract an eye to your painting. Same going with destruction and intuition because that is what creates the attraction of abstract art by making the work very attractive to specific people

I like that this painting is very centered around the middle by drawing my attention to the middle because of the bright and dark colors bringing my eyes into the middle.

Investigate:
Elements in a successful composition is that it emphasizes important elements in the art it guides the viewers eye through the art work and helps you understand the work
The important things are located around the lines to draw the audiences attention

Section 4: Create
Visual documentation of steps of creation
In the start I tried going for a light easy going and something calm
Near the middle I went for more of a distorted and an un familiar look
And by the end I looked at what I liked and aluminized all the things that I like by adding colors complete opposite of what it's touching to make it attract the viewers eye

Why: I made this abstract piece because i feel like making the audience wonder is the best way to make the audience more intrigued to examening your piece. I think that the red outlines and the opposite colors that touch each other make the canvas pop out even with it having a mainly dark canvas
Section 6: Communicate and Reflect
Challenges, successes, and self-evaluation of how the artwork aligns with the inquiry question.
Some challenges I had during this piece was that I really felt lost of what to do but by the end I figured out what I was going for.
A success is the middle part (The light house) or the red highlights because I think that it really emphasizes the piece by giving it a pop so that the painting isn't all black. Plus I think that the crimson magenta type color really gives it a sense of distortion.
I also think that i was able to add the white to the curve to make it show more by adding an opposite color
