Why: I like this artwork because it has a strong 3D feel. The acrylic paint makes the object look realistic and gives it form in a way other artworks don’t.

Why: This artwork stood out to me because of its different tones, tints, and colors. The warm colors make it feel like fire, and I like how the artist creates a strong feeling without showing emotion directly. It also helped me understand how color variations can affect a piece.

During this creation process i had to start off by choosing the size of my disco ball and coloring the back of it with charcoal so that later on we can trace the lines of the printed onto the plate (disco ball). After that I took my colours and started to colour in the lines and borders of the disco ball in the opposite colour that i would fill it out in. after colouring the lines in i coloured the boxes in with a purple and two different shades of blue and mixed them to create a gradient

Composition: Disco Ball
Why: I created this artwork to resemble that even though the colours in this disco ball compliment with each other and look nice with each other, the title has the word "mar" which means ocean in Spanish and I chose this because in the ocean there is so much life there and with out it theres no water and no water means no life leaving all the organisms in the ocean to be gone and that even though we have such a nice elegant colour, without it we would lose so much.

During this piece I definitely noticed that I could've been neater or that I could"ve taken more time to complete this task by going slower when doing the lines or doing the boxes more carfully in so that I could've gotten a better final piece. I also realised that I wasn't adding any gradient to my disco ball about 1/3 of the way of making my final piece so I think that that coralates to me taking more time.
