A Warm Welcome from the American High School PTSA President
Dear American High School Community,
On behalf of the American High School PTSA, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to a new school year!
Whether you are a returning family or joining our community for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of the Eagle family. A new school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, build friendships, and create lasting memories. Together, we can make this a year filled with success, kindness, and school spirit.
The PTSA is committed to supporting our students, teachers, staff, and families by fostering a strong sense of community and providing programs that enrich the educational experience. None of this is possible without the involvement of our amazing volunteers, parents, students, and community members.
I invite you to become an active part of the PTSA. Whether you volunteer your time, attend our events, share your ideas, or simply cheer on our students, your involvement makes a meaningful difference. Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen our school and creates opportunities for every student to thrive.
Let us work together to build a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every student feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

🌟 A Big Thank You to Our AHS Community! 🌟
Thank you so much for the wonderful response to the AHS PTSA’s new “Meet the Staff” program! We are thrilled to see 100+ parents participate and share so many thoughtful questions.
We are truly glad that PTSA is able to help bridge the gap between our school community, parents, and staff, and provide parents with a better understanding of the amazing work happening at AHS. đź’™
A very special shout-out to our Principal, Ms. Sharma, who has always been a tremendous support for the programs and initiatives we host. Your encouragement means so much to us!
To our beloved teaching staff, non-teaching staff, support staff, and custodians — a heartfelt THANK YOU! 🙏 None of these programs would be possible without your time, collaboration, and continued support.
And last but certainly not least, a huge kudos to our “Meet the Series” Program Chair, Divya B.! 👏 She has put so much thought, time, and countless hours into coordinating and implementing this program. Her dedication has played a huge part in making this initiative a success.
A very special appreciation to our entire PTSA Board as well. PTSA is a completely volunteer-based, non-paid organization, and every single board member generously gives their time, energy, and effort to support our students, parents, and school community. ❤️ Your dedication behind the scenes is what helps keep this organization strong and thriving, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
We are excited to continue “Meet the Staff” every month and bring many more meaningful programs for our parents and students.
We sincerely need your continued support! ❤️ Please consider becoming an AHS PTSA member. Your membership helps us expand these programs and create even more opportunities for our AHS community.
We may eventually make some of these programs members-only, while continuing to bring many more valuable programs and initiatives for our parents and students.
