provides a welcoming place in our community to connect, educate, and inform local Democrats, and others who support Democratic values.
WHAT WE DO
We bring club members together
We know how to enjoy each others company! From our twice a year Political Trivia Nights, to our annual holiday party and our Blue Breakfast annual membership meeting. The opportunity to get together with like-minded people is a part of everything we do.
We offer informational opportunities
We sponsor events like our 2022 Gun Violence Town Hall, our summer Forum on Florida's 2023 Legislative Session, and a virtual presentation from the Southern Poverty Law Center on extremist groups in northeast Florida.
We also have a monthly newsletter, The Blue Pages and are expanding our website to provide more information and resources for voters and about issues that matter.
We support community events
We participate in, provide volunteers for, and sponsor community events like: the MLK Jr. Parade, the Fernandina Pride Parade & Festival, the Glow-Up and Right Whale Festivals and Juneteenth Jumpoff.
YOUR MEMBERSHIP DUES AND DONATIONS HELP DCAI:
Cover the Club's administrative and operational costs.
Support the Nassau County Democratic Executive Committee, and the operations and maintenance of the Nassau County Democratic Headquarters.
Host informative town hall meetings and forums, facilitate community discussions and provide informed speakers about a variety of subjects.
Sponsor and participate in community events, such as the MLK Jr. Parade, Fernandina Pride Parade & Festival, Juneteenth Jump Off, Right Whale Festival, and more.
Host candidate forums and opportunities to meet & greet candidates and support activities promoting Democratic platforms, issues, and candidates.
