Anselmo-Merna Public School partners with the Wholeness Healing’s Student Assistance Program (SAP).  This benefit is designed to assist students in providing professional help to manage life’s challenges.  Trained counselors will offer students confidential and professional guidance when life feels overwhelming or difficult to handle.  Additionally, counselors will be ready to assist in working out troubled areas of life that impact student performance, personal health and/or your overall well-being.  As a benefit for Anselmo-Merna Public School, the services are free and confidential.

Wholeness Healing’s Program free and confidential services include:

1.  Up to 2 free 50 minute sessions per student per incident with up to 2 incidents per contract year.  These sessions are dedicated to finding solutions for issues that may include any of the following:

• Counseling:

  • Achieving Life Balance

  • Depression and Grief

  • Family and Relationship Issues

  • Alcohol and Drug Abuse

  • Anger Control

  • Communication Skills

  • Stress and Anxiety

  • Health and Wellness

  • Spiritual Direction

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
