"Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose." — Michelle Rosenthal
My journey to becoming a therapist began at a young age. After experiencing trauma and the benefits of personal therapy, I felt inspired to help others find their peace. I started graduate school in 2019 at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where I developed a keen awareness of how personal narratives impact individuals. I learned to engage with the disciplines of psychology, theology, and culture to foster reconciliation and transformative relationships. Simultaneously, I worked in community mental health supporting adolescents, teens, parents, and families. Through ongoing work in this field, I have been inspired to pursue private practice.
I am now an associate licensed mental health counselor in Washington State, with an in-person practice located in Kitsap County. To increase access to therapeutic services, I also offer Telehealth options for those who have difficulty seeing a therapist in person.
