I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you.
Once you have completed all of the intake documentation in Simple Practice, the Headway team will reach out with an email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You'll see your cost per session ahead of time and can check your benefits through the client portal.
Insurance via Out of Network Benefits
Superbillls are made available to all clients if you wish to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider as an Out of Network benefit. You will pay the up front cost of your session and the insurance will reimburse you directly for services. To find out your Out of Network benefits, call your insurance provider.
Private Pay
All payments are accepted via a HIPAA encrypted credit/HSA card service called IvyPay. Clients may choose to pay by cash or check but a card must be on file.
The No Surprises Act
All private pay clients are entitled to an annual No Surprises Act statement. For more information about the No Surprises Act and how it impacts individuals pursuing medical treatment through private pay, please see this link.

This is just a rough estimate based on national averages. The duration of our work together can be longer or shorter depending upon your symptoms, your work between sessions, and your response to treatment.
Unless required by a court order (an extremely rare situation), you are free to discontinue treatment at any time, and free to discuss any other modifications to treatment modalities, frequency, or duration. You are ultimately in control of your own healthcare; I am just here to provide help at your request.
You will receive all Good Faith Estimates via IvyPay, once enrolled.
