Option 1: Full time through the Aces Digital Academy (6 online courses; 0 courses elsewhere*)
Students seeking an alternate, full-time option
Severely credit deficient students or over-age students
Students with severe medical conditions who require alternate an setting
Students placed in the Aces Digital Academy in lieu of expulsion
Option 2: Part-time through the Aces Digital Academy (2 or 3 online courses; 2 or 3 courses elsewhere*)
Mildly credit deficient students needing credit recovery for up to 2 courses
CCP students
Option 3: A La Carte** (1 online course while taking 5-7 courses elsewhere*)
* Elsewhere includes courses taken at Amanda-Clearcreek, EFCTC, or College Credit Plus programs.
** Note: If students are hoping to only take 1 online course, then they do NOT need to enroll in the Online Academy. Those students are considered “A La Carte” online students.
All classes are being managed through InnevAto EDU unless otherwise noted. Courses may be added, or changed, with or without notice.
For full time students, expect to be scheduled into all courses (4 cores + 2 electives) simultaneously, with weekly pacing expectations. Half-time students will be in 2 cores + 1 elective.
Students who plan on participating in ACHS athletics will need to note the updated requirements. In order to be eligible, ADA students must:
Be enrolled in 5 full credit courses
Have a minimum of 25% progress made in those 5 courses at the conclusion of each grading period. (ex: Q1= 25%, Q2 = 50%, Q3 = 75%, Q4 = 100%)
Maintain a GPA of 2.0 based on their published grades at the end of each grading period
Create a daily or weekly schedule for yourself to ensure that you are engaging regularly and making consistent progress in all of your courses.
Check email, Progressbook, and InnevAto daily. Read all feedback provided by teachers and ADA staff. Respond, as needed.
Be prepared to complete most of your learning through online activities.
Communicate with the ADA staff regularly and attend their office hours, particularly when you are struggling.
Provide a low to moderate level of academic support while encouraging independence.
Monitor student’s comprehension and grades.
Encourage independence with support to learn time-management skills.
Encourage your student to attend instructional opportunities offered through Google Meets.
Communicate, as needed, with your student’s teacher while supporting student/teacher communication. Encourage your student to attend teachers’ office hours when needed.
