"Inspiring, educating, and equipping girls with computing skills needed to pursue 21st century opportunities."
The Amana chapter of Girls Who Code is an after-school club for students in grades 3-5. The club meets weekly and provides students the opportunity to learn and practice computer science skills. Each week, students read excerpts from the Girls Who Code book and learn new skills by completing fun and simple coding challenges. During the semester students used their knowledge of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions to create tutorial games in Scratch.
