Students will visit the library this Friday. Fourth Grade needs to remember to bring their books back; Fifth Grade, this will be our first visit.
If students have not brought headphones to school yet, please try to bring them in sometime this week.
Don't forget that there is no school on Monday, September 29th due to teacher in-service.
A quick note about Google Classroom: I will not give the students homework that they need to complete in the Google Classroom. Several students have trouble accessing the Google Classroom from home and others do not have devices that will allow them to get on the Classroom. If you see and assignment listed in the Google Classroom that will always be done during school...never as homework. Please do not have the students complete assignments in the Classroom at home! There is a section of the Google Classroom called Resources: in that section you can find copies of class notes, vocabulary words, etc. If you want to explore that section of the Classroom at home, that is fine.
I will post a copy of the spelling packet in the Resource section of the ELA Google Classroom in case the students misplace their paper copy sometime during the week.
Please remember to check the students test folder every Monday and then return it to school the next day.
Fourth Grade is in charge of mass this week. Mrs. Sullivan assigned mass parts to the students last week. If your child has the reading or a petition, please be sure to practice with them each night. I will send an email to 4th Grade parents tomorrow night confirming student parts for mass...I left the list that Mrs. Sullivan gave me on my desk at school (sorry).
This Thursday is the mass in which the Student Saint is announced. Our virtue for this month is Hope. (The school will contact the parents of the Student Saint tomorrow).
4th and 5th Grade students both have a spelling test on Friday, September 26th.
