In honor of Paint the Town Purple week, the Henley Street Pedestrian Bridge will be lit up in Purple August 1st- 5th.

8:30 PM - Presentation of Proclamation "Paint the Town Purple" Week
8:45 PM - Parade begins at Sunset
On Thursday, August 3rd, we invite the public to join us in a Walk over the Henley Street Pedestrian Bridge. Wear your favorite Alz shirt or come dressed in purple.
Larsen Jay of Knox County will be there to declare this the official Paint the Town Purple Week!
We will gather together in Market Square and all walk together over the Pedestrian Bridge which will be lit purple for the whole week. To spread the word, we encourage you to take group pictures and selfies to share on social media using #ENDALZKnox.
The purpose of this Parade is to build awareness and establish a symbolic gesture of coming together for a common cause for people who share a common loss.
DAY 5 - FRIDAY
AUGUST 4th

Donate $10 and throw a water balloon at Grant!
This Saturday we are participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Fundraising for these events goes to support families dealing with the fallout from Alzheimer’s diagnosis and to support ground breaking research towards treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure!
Any and all donations are accepted but for every $10 donated you’ll get to hit Grant with a water balloon!
An in store barcode will be available to facilitate your donation, cash donations are also accepted.
