Meet the Directors

CHRISTINA FONDREN is a proud AHS Alumni and is excited to be back home. After graduating from Alvin High School, she attended Kilgore College where she was fortunate to be a member of the 65th line of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. During this time, she was able to perform on Carnival Cruise Lines, various parades and shows around Texas, and even sing and dance for the Presidential Inauguration where she was honored to represent the great state of Texas. Continuing her education with a Bachelor Degree in Biology with a Pre-med specialization, she graduated from UHCL and began working in the dental industry. She was no stranger to the AHS stage at that time though, coming back and helping with choreography and UIL judging with former director Laurie Wilson. Eventually, Mrs. Fondren made it to the theatre classroom in CCISD before coming to Manvel JH where she led the Arrowhead Theatre. She is thrilled to be a part of the Yellowjacket Theatre Company alongside Mr. Cervantes and looks forward to an incredible year!

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Fondren can be found in the garden or spending time at Disneyworld with her family. Her husband and six kids keep her running around to football, the barn, choir, musical, twirling, cheerleading.....LOTS of places in her "spare" time.
