The Basics…

My name is Ashlee Gulley and I will be the School Counselor at Wilder Elementary for the 2018-2019 School Year. I am looking forward to collaborating with our students, parents, staff, and administrators in order to ensure that our school is a "safe haven" for academic and personal growth. My goal is to ensure that I am meeting the ever changing needs of our Wilder Community.

A Little About Me…

I am originally from East Texas, a little town called Wiergate (about 15 miles from Jasper, TX). I graduated from the University of Houston in 2006. I have a master's degree in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling. I am a LPC-Intern and can provide emotional and social support to our students and families outside of the school setting if necessary. I love crafting, painting, dancing, singing, and traveling.

I am the mother of two beautiful girls, ages 10 and 16, in the fifth and eleventh grade. We have been blessed with a handsome baby boy born November of 2018. I am also the wife of a very supportive, busy teacher and Football/Head Track Coach at Shadow Creek High School (#GoSharks). As a parent, I understand that there are concerns that you will have when it comes to education and/or the school environment. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you have regarding your child throughout the school year. I will keep the lines of communication open between us during this year. I look forward to helping and guiding the students as they grow academically, socially, and personally throughout this school year.
