Theatre Classroom D121 & D125
Mr. Waldron Archer is the Artistic Director at Shadow Creek High School, The Off Broadway Theater. Born in Panama City, Panama and raised in Austin, Tx. He is a proud alum of Stephen F. Austin State University class of 2011 where he earned his BA in Theatre with a Minor is Art, while at SFASU he was the Assistant Workshop Director at SFA High School Summer Workshop. This allowed him to help run a camp where future Theatre Educators learn how to work with High Schools students on how to become a theatre director.
He began his teaching career at Nolan Ryan Junior High School before opening the multi-award winning Manvel Junior High Arrowhead Theatre. Then hired on as the Assistant Theatre Director at SCHS, where he has been for the several years.
Mr. Archer, severs as the Department Chair of Fine Arts at SCHS, and as the Westside Theatre Arts Lead for Alvin ISD. He and his husband, Robert Archer (Director of Kempner Theater, in FBISD) have a dog named Leota and live in Houston, Texas. Archer strongly believes in the mission at The Off-Broadway Theatre, which is to enhances and advocates artistic excellence through a valuable insight into our humanity, the opportunity to embody and express social reality, and the reflection on community and personal identity.

Mr. Jaíme Martinez is the Technical Theatre Arts Director at Shadow Creek High School. He has taught theatre for sixteen years, thirteen at the high school level and three at the junior high level. While teaching at the high school level, he competed in the TUTS Tommy Tunes Awards, and his team was nominated for best lighting design, best scenic design and best set crew.
Prior to his teaching career, he was the Technical Director and Resident Lighting Designer at Talento Bilingüe de Houston. While at TBH, he had the opportunity to work with the Chicano Producer, Jorge Pina and Artistic Director, Angeles Romero. Mr. Martinez was also a freelance theatrical lighting designer in the Houston area and worked with many dance and theatre companies.
Mr. Martinez has his bachelor of arts degree in Theatre from the University of Houston. While at U of H, he had the opportunity to learn and work with Tony Award Winner and Pulitzer Prize Winner Edward Albee, Tony Award Winner and Legendary Producer Stuart Ostrow, and Tony Award Nominated Scenic and Lighting Designer, Kevin Rigdon.
While studying at U of H, he worked at the Cullen Performance Hall on over 150 productions from touring companies in and around Houston and from around the world.
He is a tech staff member of the Texas Thespian State Festival, an organization that fosters theatre excellence. Mr. Martinez is also a member of United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT), a prominent leader in the performing arts design and technology communities to ensure a vibrant dialog among practitioners, educators, and students. Mr. Martinez is also a member of TTAO, as a certified Contest Manager.
A native to San Antonio, his theatrical career started at a young age, with a debut role as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. His passion is teaching and is honored be a Shark. He is looking forward to meeting each and every one of his students to continue the tradition of theatre excellence.
