1. Talk to them about Spanish class. See if they are confused, lost, overwhelmed. It is VERY important that they participate in class even if only to tell me to slow down or repeat things.

2. Help make sure they attend class every day and arrive on time. Even missing a few minutes repeatedly or 1 day a week will make understanding VERY difficult.

3. Encourage them to study the story vocabulary in Quizlet. See the "Vocabulary" page for links.

4. Ask them to read and translate the stories in their notebook to you. They are allowed to leave them in class but may certainly take them home. But please help them remember to bring the notebook back to class.
