Who are we?
We are the journalism club, and we are eager to share Mark Twain’s news. We are a group of 4th and 5th grade students, who take photos of different events at Mark Twain. We are excited to learn to be better writers. We write about things that happen in the school. We will also share pictures of campus events. We are here to be leaders at our school and grow as writers and photographers. This will help us share Mark Twain’s exciting news. Members of the journalism club are going to report on campus events so everybody knows about what’s going on. We hope you enjoyed reading!
Ding! Ding! Ding! The reviews are in from the Mark Twain fall family night! The book fair had a lot of interesting stories. Also, there was a new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, which is an insanely popular book. Based on the interviews, lots of people love the new book. Also, the school was full of costumes. We saw some nice costumes; for example, we saw some inflatables and some unique ones like the HOT Cheetos. The activities were a hit! Mrs. Jacobson said, “There are a lot of activities.” Because there were a lot of activities, fun went around like a virus. After playing, you could get candy, like m & m’s, skittles, snickers, and gum. The candy brought families together. Overall, family night was a success, so you probably can’t wait for the next one.

bOOK Character Parade 2023
Do you want to hear about the wonderful parade with inflatable dinosaurs? A lot of kids were in the parade. All of the costumes were fun and great. Some costumes we saw were dinosaurs, tons of different SpiderMan, and Pokémon. They were awesome. When we heard the music, everyone started walking in the halls, showing off their cool costumes. We were in the parade because it was fun, and we saw cool costumes. The Halloween parade was a great adventure with great music, cool costumes, and a lot of kids and laughs.
