Shadow Show

ASL

This year we want to expand our audience for our musical and opening up a new part of our theatre. We will be incorporating ASL into the shows by having a second cast that has the sole purpose of interpreting the music into ASL. This will take a lot of work from anyone that would like to take on the challenge but will be very rewarding and fun.  Below is an example of what signing would look like.

While I can't promise you will become proficient in ASL, I can give you a great starting point and references to learn from! I look forward to working with you!

If you are interested Join our google classroom using the following code:  msmpeka All ASL auditions will be done via video submissions on the google classroom. All submissions must be received by Friday November 17th.

Use this video to help you learn the signs and the order of the signs. I will walk you through it one sign at a time. If you don't understand something, don't hesitate to come ask me during lunch or during morning tutorials on Thursday and Friday mornings.

In this video you can practice in real time with me. Follow closely!!

Here is just the music so you can practice once you have it memorized! Good luck!
