Pioneer Dance

cOURSE dESCRIPTION

Iowa Colony's Dance Department is comprised of Dance levels I - IV. Through the development of kinesthetic and locomotive movements, we will explore and analyze the various genres of dance, technique, history, and terminology. On our journey, we will recognize dance as a vehicle for promoting physical fitness, developing self-discipline, fostering creativity, and understanding cultural and historical contexts of movement.

Tutorials: Tutorials are available by appointment only. We are available on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm and Fridays 6:30-7:00am. Please send an email at least 24 hours in advance and within working hours in order to let us know when you plan to stop by for assistance.
